THE GIFT OF LIGHT
The Hand for the Light is an historic offering. A special limited edition series of 200 ‘Pete Johnston’ bronze casted replicas of the Elbow Reef Lighthouse’s famous door handle (hand and scroll) are available for purchase at $2000 each.
Using the 5000-year old Lost Wax Process, the Johnston family have specialized in bronze sculptures since 1952. Each piece is hand-numbered and comes with a gift box and certificate of authenticity. All funds received will benefit ongoing restoration efforts.

The lost wax process by which our hands were fabricated was first developed more than 6000 years ago as a way to duplicate a desired shape. Since then it has been the molding method of choice when copies of intricate original works of art are made.
